Professional in-store programming for late-90s and early-2000s Mercedes-Benz classic sedans. These vehicles utilize the early SmartKey® infrared technology. Whether you have the early "Flip" style or the first generation "Black Plastic" infrared key, we provide a full programming solution to get your Mercedes back on the road.

Our service includes a new high-quality remote key, precision cutting of the emergency metal blade, and diagnostic synchronization with your vehicle's Electronic Ignition Switch (EIS).

This service is specifically dedicated to the following classic Mercedes-Benz chassis:

• C-Class (Sedan)

  • C230, C280, C43 AMG (W202): 1998 – 2000

• E-Class (Sedan & Wagon)

  • E300, E320, E430, E55 AMG (W210): 1999 – 2002 (Includes final production year)

• CLK-Class (Coupe & Cabriolet)

  • CLK320, CLK430, CLK55 AMG (W208): 1998 – 2002

⚠️ TECHNICAL NOTE: For these specific years, Mercedes-Benz transitioned from the mechanical "Flip" key to the Infrared SmartKey®. This service is for vehicles equipped with the DAS 3 / FBS3 ignition (the plastic key hole with no metal teeth visible).

• Emergency Key Cutting: Precision cutting of the mechanical "S-Blade" to ensure you can still access the car if the battery dies.

• In-Store Programming: Specialized synchronization with the vehicle's early-generation EIS module.

• Battery Included: Pre-installed and tested.

🚨 IN-STORE REQUIREMENTS

Because these early systems require a physical "handshake" between the key and the ignition to authorize the rolling codes:

1. 📍 THE VEHICLE MUST BE PRESENT: We must connect our specialized hardware to the vehicle's diagnostic port at our shop: 2035 Victory Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10314.

2. All Keys Lost: We specialize in recovery for these models. If you have no working keys, please call us to discuss the specific procedure.

3. Proof of Ownership: A valid Driver's License and Vehicle Registration/Title are mandatory.
