• Service Cancellation: If the customer changes their mind, decides the service is no longer required, or is unavailable at the scheduled time, the $100 deposit is forfeited in full, regardless of whether the service was performed.

• Completion of Service: If the requested service is successfully completed, the $100 deposit will be applied as a credit toward the final total cost of the job. You will only be responsible for the remaining balance upon completion.

• Purpose: This payment is specifically reserved for logistical coordination required for travel beyond our standard local service area.

Non-Refundable Long-Distance Deposit Policy

1. Purpose of Deposit

To provide professional mobile automotive locksmith services for long-distance travel, we incur significant logistical costs, including technician time, vehicle mobilization, fuel, and the displacement of resources from our primary service area. The $100.00 security deposit serves as a commitment fee to reserve a dedicated time slot and mobilize a technician for your specific long-distance service request.

2. Non-Refundable Nature

The $100 security deposit is strictly non-refundable. This fee is considered "earned upon booking" to compensate for the reservation of specialized time and the logistical planning required for travel beyond our standard local service area.

• Cancellation or Change of Mind: Should you change your mind, decide the service is no longer required, or be unavailable at the scheduled time, the $100 deposit is forfeited in full, regardless of whether the service was performed.

• Job Completion: If the requested service is successfully completed, the $100 deposit will be applied as a credit toward the final total cost of the job. You will only be responsible for the remaining balance upon the successful completion of the service.

3. Mandatory Verification Procedures

To ensure clarity and protect both the customer and the business, all long-distance bookings require the following three-step verification process:

• Step A: Mandatory Website Check-Box During the checkout/booking process, the customer must manually check a box stating: "I have read and agree to the Non-Refundable Long-Distance Deposit Policy." This action is mandatory to proceed to payment, and the transaction log will be stored in our secure database as proof of agreement.

• Step B: The "I Agree" Email Confirmation Immediately following payment, the customer will receive an email stating: "Thank you for your $100 deposit for [Service Date/Location]. Per our policy, this deposit is non-refundable and covers travel logistics, regardless of whether the service is completed. Please reply 'I Agree' to this email to confirm your booking."

  • Note: The customer’s reply of "I Agree" constitutes formal confirmation of these terms. This email thread will be archived as permanent legal evidence of the agreement.

• Step C: Invoice Transparency Every payment request and final invoice will clearly label the initial $100 payment as a "Non-refundable travel/logistics deposit."

4. Payment Authorization

By submitting the security deposit, the customer authorizes Payless Car Keys Corp. / Master Auto Locksmith Inc. to retain these funds in accordance with the terms of this policy.
