🛠️ WHAT YOU NEED TO SEND
To perform this service, you must remove and mail the following components to our Staten Island facility:
Immobilizer ECU (Key Transponder ECU): A small black plastic box located under the driver’s side dashboard, typically near the steering column. Look for part numbers starting with 89780-XXXXX.
Driver's Door Lock Cylinder: Only required if you do not have a working key to copy or a factory key code. This allows us to cut the new keys to your physical locks.
Contact Form: Include your Name, VIN, Return Address, and Phone Number inside the package.

Note: This service is specifically for the Generation 1 Prius using the 4C "Fixed Code" glass chip. 2004 and newer models utilize a different system that does not require module removal.

Turnaround: Most modules are processed and shipped back within 24–48 hours of arrival.
🚨 IMPORTANT TECHNICAL NOTE
The Generation 1 Prius distinguishes between "Master Keys" (Black head) and "Valet Keys" (Gray head). If you only have a valet key, you cannot add more keys yourself. Our service converts your system back to "Master" status, allowing you to easily add spare keys in the future using standard manual procedures.
