The 2003 and newer Saab 9-3 utilizes a highly advanced security architecture where the keys are "married" directly to the CIM (Column Integration Module). If you have lost all keys, the vehicle's computer will remain locked and the engine will not start.
Our specialized mail-in service provides a cost-effective recovery solution, allowing us to program new smart keys directly into your original CIM module without requiring an expensive replacement from a dealership.

🛠️ HOW THE SERVICE WORKS
Module Location: The CIM (Column Integration Module) is located on the steering column behind the steering wheel. It houses the turn signal and wiper stalks.
Module Removal: This module must be removed from the steering column and mailed to our facility for programming.
Note: Due to the complexity of the steering angle sensor and clock spring, we recommend professional removal.
Plug-and-Play Result: Once we program the new keys, the module is returned to you. Simply reinstall it, and the vehicle will recognize the keys immediately—no further Tech2 "marrying" or software synchronization is required to start the car.

To comply with security regulations and verify ownership, we require the following items to be included in your package:

In-Shop Service: Standard rates apply. For this service, you will need to bring your vehicle to our facility in Staten Island.
Mail-In Service: We recommend using a shipping carrier with tracking and insurance.
Turnaround: Most modules are programmed and shipped back within 24–48 hours of receipt.
