💡 EMERGENCY START TIP: "KEY FOB NOT DETECTED" If your Journey displays "Key Fob Not Detected" or the fob battery is dead, you can still start the engine:

1. Use the Fob: Press the tip of the key fob (the end opposite the emergency key) directly against the Start/Stop button.

2. Push to Start: While holding the fob against the button, depress the brake pedal and push the button as you normally would.

3. Why it works: The vehicle has a backup induction coil behind the button that can read the chip even if the fob battery is completely drained.
